History of the Festival

The Baldock Festival is a community event that brings together the people of Baldock in Hertfordshire, UK. The Festival is probably the biggest event in the town’s calendar, providing a fortnight of events for a variety of ages and tastes during May each year.

Chairman’s Message

Welcome to this, our 33rd Baldock Festival. To celebrate this anniversary in true Baldock style we are including an increased number of eating and drinking events. We have some new events, “The Adventures of a Baldock Ghost Hunter” and “Battle of Britain Bunker Talk”.  There are sone old favourites, “The Teddy Bear’s Picnic” and “The Beer Festival”.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the clubs, businesses, organisations and volunteers who have helped make our Festival successful over the last 33 years. This is what makes the Festival so special: the involvement of the whole of the town.

The Festival committee would like to thank you, the public, for supporting the Festival over the last 33 years. Without your support we would not have reached this milestone.

We always need new volunteers so if you are interested in helping plan the event or help during the festival please contact us at info@baldockfestival.org

Thank you.
