This event is being organized by Christchurch Baldock. There will also be a display of medieval artifacts and live “old English” music.

St Mary’s Church Tower. 7.30-9.00pm. Meeting by Peter’s Door at the foot of the tower to the left of the main door.
If you have ever fancied having a go at bell-ringing or wondered how it was done, this evening will give you the chance to find out. Access is fairly challenging—there are 44 worn steps in the spiral staircase, so appropriate footwear should be worn. No previous bell-ring experience is necessary.
Because space is small, tickets are limited to 12.
There is no charge but you must pick up a ticket from the Community Centre.
Weather permitting. Sensible footwear essential.
A chance to see Baldock from a different viewpoint! Refreshments available at the back of church.
Children must be over eight years of age and if under 16 years, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This is a new display which looks at the town in the aftermath of the Great War, the Peace Parade, the returning servicemen etc. It is also an opportunity to look through albums of old photographs and to buy second-hand history books.
