Baldock’s missing centuries: from 550 to 1146AD @ Baldock Arts & Heritage Centre, Old Town Hall, High Street SG7 6AR
May 14 @ 7:45 pm

North Hertfordshire’s archaeologist, Keith Fitzpatrick-Matthews, will be looking at what happened to the site of the old town following its abandonment by the Romans, trying to work out where everyone went and why it’s not apparently recorded in Domesday Book. He will look at archaeological evidence, place names and what few documents survive from the period.
