Messy Church is about having fun with all the family! Join us for a delicious lunch of chicken pasta bake (vegetarian option available) followed by trifle.
The theme is “pray, pray, pray!” and there will be craft, activities and games around the church including a short service.
There is no charge to join in, but donations are welcome.
Two tours will take you up the Tower at 7.30pm and 8:15pm.
Both are followed by refreshments and entertainment at Baldock Library from 8.30pm and after a talk on “The medical and Christian history” of Baldock, given by Sarah Hoskins a Christian Doctor who lives in Baldock.
This event is being organized by Christchurch Baldock. There will also be a display of medieval artifacts and live “old English” music.

St Mary’s Church Tower. 7.30-9.00pm. Meeting by Peter’s Door at the foot of the tower to the left of the main door.
If you have ever fancied having a go at bell-ringing or wondered how it was done, this evening will give you the chance to find out. Access is fairly challenging—there are 44 worn steps in the spiral staircase, so appropriate footwear should be worn. No previous bell-ring experience is necessary.
Because space is small, tickets are limited to 12.
There is no charge but you must pick up a ticket from the Community Centre.
After the very successful Baldock’s Voices in last year’s Festival, time has moved on to 1956 when Albert, Maud and Ivy reminisce about life and times in Baldock during and after the first world war. With appropriate slides and music!
Come and join the family fun trail around Hartsfield School grounds. Lots of exploring and activities. Last entry 4pm. Everyone who completes the trail receives a prize!
The Mixologists at The George will treat you to four mouth-watering cocktails, accompanied by canapes, games and demonstrations.

This is a light-hearted quiz for all abilities. Entry by form only – no entries accepted on the night as this is always a sell-out. The number of teams accepted is limited to 25, so send your entries in pronto! Licensed bar, waiter/waitress service.
Local teacher and musician, Mike O’Neill, leads his big band, a community ensemble of players from the area, in a vibrant programme of swing and jazz.
There will be a pay bar and complimentary canapés. All proceeds go towards the next phase of the church restoration.
