Messy Church is about having fun with all the family! Join us for a delicious lunch of chicken pasta bake (vegetarian option available) followed by trifle. The theme is “pray, pray, pray!” and there will be craft, activities and games around the church including a short service. No charge – donations welcome.

If you have ever fancied having a go at bell-ringing or wondered how it was done, this evening will give you the chance to find out. Access is fairly challenging—there are 44 worn steps in the spiral staircase, so appropriate footwear should be worn. No previous bell-ring experience is necessary.
Because the space is small, tickets are limited to 12. There is no charge but you must pick up a ticket from the Community Centre.
Meet the Brewer, an evening with Ian Jackson, Charles Well’s Master Brewer who will talk you through the history of the Ale World with tastings on from both Charles Wells and local independent Brewers that we have worked with over the many years of crafting our distinctive tasty Ales. The evening will be comprised of tasting a selection of Ales and accompanying nibbles devised by our Head Chef, Dan Jones.

A culinary masterclass in fresh tasty cuisine with our Head Chef Dan Jones. A two course supper evening with Head chef Dan giving a talk on all the dishes and talking you through what it takes to create them. All guests on top of the course will receive the menu, ingredients list and cookery guideline so they can give it a go at home. There will be a vegetarian option available.

Local teacher and musician, Mike O’Neill, leads his big band, a community ensemble of players from the area, in a vibrant programme of swing and jazz. Tickets £10 in advance (children free) which can be purchased online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/fosm, from the Community Centre or £12 if purchased on the door. Pay bar and complimentary canapés. All proceeds go towards the next phase of the church restoration.
