Messy Church is about having fun with all the family! Join us for a delicious lunch of chicken pasta bake (vegetarian option available) followed by trifle.
The theme is “pray, pray, pray!” and there will be craft, activities and games around the church including a short service.
There is no charge to join in, but donations are welcome.
Two tours will take you up the Tower at 7.30pm and 8:15pm.
Both are followed by refreshments and entertainment at Baldock Library from 8.30pm and after a talk on “The medical and Christian history” of Baldock, given by Sarah Hoskins a Christian Doctor who lives in Baldock.
This event is being organized by Christchurch Baldock. There will also be a display of medieval artifacts and live “old English” music.

St Mary’s Church Tower. 7.30-9.00pm. Meeting by Peter’s Door at the foot of the tower to the left of the main door.
If you have ever fancied having a go at bell-ringing or wondered how it was done, this evening will give you the chance to find out. Access is fairly challenging—there are 44 worn steps in the spiral staircase, so appropriate footwear should be worn. No previous bell-ring experience is necessary.
Because space is small, tickets are limited to 12.
There is no charge but you must pick up a ticket from the Community Centre.
Local teacher and musician, Mike O’Neill, leads his big band, a community ensemble of players from the area, in a vibrant programme of swing and jazz.
There will be a pay bar and complimentary canapés. All proceeds go towards the next phase of the church restoration.
