This year’s demonstration, A Planting we will go, will be given by Daphne Grant.
There will be refreshments and a raffle.

This year’s 11th Baldock Independent Beer Festival, will bring live music on Friday evening, all day Saturday and until close at 8.00pm on Sunday. We will have 90 local and national real ales, 40 ciders and a large selection of Continental draught beers and lagers. You will also find a wide range of hot, cold, vegetarian and barbecued food, plenty of sweets, soft drinks, ice cream and free activities including some fun games and challenges to entertain the children during the day. Any surplus made during this event will be used to support good causes within the local area (see website for details).

Baldock and Clothall WI are providing a traditional homemade Champagne Afternoon Tea where you will be served tea or coffee, plus a glass of champagne.
Your afternoon tea stand will consist of sandwiches with a variety of fillings, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream plus a selection of pastries and cakes.
Tickets are not available to buy on the door so please buy in advance from the Community Centre.
The programme will include the Clarinet Quintet by the renowned film composer Richard Rodney Bennett (who died in 2017) and a cheerful Classical Style Quartet by Crusell. There will also be music by Schubert. Players: Rob Hughes and Lesley Pearce violins, Heather Birt viola, Lucinda Wright cello and Alison Eales clarinet.
Refreshments will be served in the interval.
