This year’s demonstration, A Planting we will go, will be given by Daphne Grant.
There will be refreshments and a raffle.
Baldock and Clothall WI are providing a traditional homemade Champagne Afternoon Tea where you will be served tea or coffee, plus a glass of champagne.
Your afternoon tea stand will consist of sandwiches with a variety of fillings, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream plus a selection of pastries and cakes.
Tickets are not available to buy on the door so please buy in advance from the Community Centre.
The programme will include the Clarinet Quintet by the renowned film composer Richard Rodney Bennett (who died in 2017) and a cheerful Classical Style Quartet by Crusell. There will also be music by Schubert. Players: Rob Hughes and Lesley Pearce violins, Heather Birt viola, Lucinda Wright cello and Alison Eales clarinet.
Refreshments will be served in the interval.
Come along and support the URC and have a fun evening at the same time.

Friends of Baldock Green Spaces conservation task: Weston Hills 10am-3:30pm meet Woodland Way entrance at 10am. Join us for an hour or more to help your local green space be a great place for wildlife and walks. Path clearance, litter picking and more! Tools and hot drinks provided.
