Just Dig This is a five piece Rhythm and Blues band consisting of two guitars, bass, drums, and harmonica.
The band was formed in March 2016 with some of us being known to each other in previous working lives. Stuart, our lead vocalist/guitar, fronted a Be-Bop/Rockabilly band in the 80/90’s.
Andy, our drummer, has also played in many bands over the years.
Francis , harp, plays regularly at blues jams and open mic nights.
Jim, guitar/vocals, had never played in a band before so was quite new to the scene.
Our new for 2019 bass player, Dave Crowder, is no stranger to our set list of 60’s and 70’s covers – he used to play them as a youngster in a band whilst the original artists were still playing them!
Our original bass player Kev Crase remains available to step in as a dep, but has his own music projects under way.
Join us for our Annual Beer, Cider and Gin Festival. We will have total of 16 real ales from national, local and independent brewers, 5 real ciders and eclectic gins. Enjoy some live music Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. On Saturday and Sunday we will be hosting a traditional African Braai serving BBQ’d meats such as Boerewors and Sosaties which will be supplied by local butchers.
