Baldock Town Twinning Association is once more presenting a murder mystery evening. The play has again been written by one of our members and features the fictitious Grant family (of last year) who lived through the aftermath of world war one. This year’s play is set in 1943 during the dark days of the 2nd world war and includes a 2020 reflection on the events that took place on the 6th May 1943. You will be given ration cards which will list the ingredients of this year’s supper; 1943 rural communities fared better than the towns, so expect good quality food which will be served during the intervals. If you wish to dress in 1940’s attire, please do so, it will add to the atmosphere.
The ticket price covers your entry fee, a hot supper plus, of course, dessert, a reasonably priced bar (no BYO, please) as well as the Murder Mystery entertainment and a raffle with some ‘unusual’ prizes. This event sells out quickly and we are limiting numbers this year so that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable evening.
