Baldock Folk Club – A Singing Tour of Baldock @ Start at The Cock
May 6 @ 7:15 pm – 10:00 pm

Join local historian Jane Havercroft and Baldock Balladeer Brian Burke for a musical and historical walk down Baldock High Street and onwards.

Meet at The Cock at 7pm, and there will follow a Baldock ramble stopping at various local landmarks, where Jane will tell her tales and Brian will sing his ballads.

The evening will continue at The Orange Tree, for further songs, tales and refreshments.

Free entry, donations please to the Baldock Folk Club. Please be ready to leave The Cock at 7.15.

Enigma: A Brief History of Bletchley Park’s Operations during World War II @ Baldock Arts and Heritage Centre, Old Town Hall, High Street SG7 6AR

The Baldock Festival committee is delighted and proud to host, once again, the curators from Bletchley Park Trust who will delivery an honest and entertaining talk covering the history of Bletchley Park’s Operations during World War II. A new talk for this year with the highlight of the evening remaining the opportunity to see, experience and touch a real, working, Enigma machine – as used by Benedict Cumberbatch from ‘The Imitation Game’. A truly memorable evening for all who attend.
Refreshments will be available at the Arts and Heritage Centre
