This is a display looking at the town in the aftermath of the Great War, the Peace Parade, the returning servicemen etc. Museum open: Fridays and Saturdays 11.00am-3.00pm; Sundays 2-4.00

Hartsfield School ‘Daily Mile!’ @ Hartsfield School, Clothall Rd, SG7 6PB

‘The Hartsfield Daily Mile” come and walk the Hartsfield School’s ‘Daily mile’ track –  experience what our children do everyday here at Hartsfield – A chance to get everyone moving including parents/ carers and grandparents. A fun outdoor event for all ages including prizes for the children. Refreshments will be on sale.
£1 entry per person (under 4’s free)

Festival Fun Quiz @ Baldock Arts and Heritage Centre, Old Town Hall, High Street SG7 6AR

Baldock Arts & Heritage Centre welcomes the ever-popular Festival Fun Quiz with a brand new Quizmistress, for the usual light-hearted quiz for all abilities.

Entry by form only – no entries accepted on the night as this is always a sell-out. Limited to 25 teams only, so get your entries in as soon as possible.

Baldock Community Orchestra @ United Reformed Church, Whitehorse Street, SG7 6QQ

Music for Stage and Screen – A lovely evening of Music from the acclaimed and much loved local group , the Baldock Community Orchestra. The concert will feature orchestral and solo pieces .

BCO ethos is to promote a wide repertoire of music to as many people as possible. It provides a unique opportunity for young people and anyone wishing to return to playing to play in an Orchestra again. The players come from Baldock and the surrounding area.

Since its formation the Orchestra has been based in Baldock.It rehearses Thursday nights (term time) Please see Facebook for more details.

During its short existence the Orchestra has performed in several Baldock locations, The Heritage centre, Orange Tree pub, St John’s School and tonight’s venue the URC church.

It has supported several Baldock events, playing at the Beer Festival and Christmas Fair. Other concerts have been given in Hinxworth, Letchworth. Christmas time a small ensemble from the Orchestra played at two local residential homes.

Herts Variety invite you to join them at ‘A Night at the Musicals’ in their 16th year of performing for the Baldock Festival. All their proceeds go to local charities and audiences are invited to sing along.

Join Jamie from Hedley Wright and your host Rob Scahill for an evening of tasting 10 wonderful wines.

There will be a small amount of cheese and biscuits to reset the palate between tastings, but feel free to bring your own too!

Baldock Folk Club – Beans & Biscuits/Gor Jus Wrex @ The Orange Tree

A special night in association with Baldock Folk Club, featuring two great local bands. Beans & Biscuits are a Western Swing outfit, that play both types of music – Country AND Western!

Sharing the billing with them will be local favourites Got Jus Wrex who have been performing lively Irish Traditional music for 25 years.
